Moll Wendén has acted as legal advisor to OptiFreeze AB (publ) (”OptiFreeze”) in the public merger with ArcAroma AB (publ) (”ArcAroma”). 

OptiFreeze is listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market and ArcAroma was until 18th May 2021 listed on Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market. The merger was implemented by OptiFreeze absorbing ArcAroma as the Swedish Companies Registration Office registered the merger on 21st May 2021. The merger was conditional upon, inter alia, approval of the merger from the shareholders in OptiFreeze and ArcAroma.

Through the merger, a more powerful and cost-efficient company, with the ability to develop the global market for the companies’ technology within the business fields FoodTech and PlantTech, is created.

After the merger, OptiFreeze has changed its name to OptiCept Technologies AB. For further information, please see the official press release regarding the merger.
