Mars Multisales trades Wrigley products

Mars and Wrigley have during the year streamlined part of its European group structure and created a New Multisales organisation. As a part of this, Wrigley’s organisations have been transferred to Mars Multisales in the Nordics, which will now be responsible for trading Wrigley’s gum and confection products in addition to Mars chocolate, food and petcare products.

Wrigley has been part of the Mars Group since 2008, but had up to now carried out its business in a separate organisation. As regard Sweden, most of the assets and associates in Wrigley Scandinavia AB have been transferred to Mars Sverige AB, having the hub office of Mars Multisales Nordics in Copenhagen.

Moll Wendén has assisted the Mars Group as legal advisor regarding the transaction. The team of Moll Wendén consisted of Stefan Wendén (responsible for corporate and commercial law), Ebba Walberg Snygg (responsible for labour law), Maria Moberg, Max Carlin, Henric Stråth and Lina Andréasson.

The Mars Group is one of the world’s biggest operators within the fields of food products, confectionery and pet food, with well-known trademarks such as M&M’S, MARS, SNICKERS, TWIX, BOUNTY, MILKY WAY, MALTESERS, UNCLE BEN’S, DOLMIO, PEDIGREE, ROYAL CANIN, WHISKAS and SHEBA.

Wrigley is one of the world’s leading companies within the fields of chewing gum and confectionery, with well-known trademarks such as EXTRA, ORBIT, JUICY FRUIT, HUBBA BUBBA, WRIGLEY’S DOUBLEMINT, STARBUST and SKITTLES.
