Moll Wendén has been main legal advisor to Nederman in its acquisition of Gasmet Technologies Oy, a world-leading company within the area of FTIR gas analysis and emissions monitoring with more than 100 employees globally.
Gasmet which was founded in 1990 is the leading FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) gas analyser and emissions monitoring system provider, with more than 30 years of FTIR experience. The company develops, manufactures and markets complete solutions for monitoring industrial emissions and portable instruments to study climate change and ensure people’s safety.
Gasmet is based in Helsinki but operates globally through wholly-owned entities in Germany, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Canada and Austria. During the financial year of 2018, the Gasmet group had a turnover of almost 21 million euros and for 2019 the turnover is likely to grow significantly.
The acquisition price amounts to an enterprise value of approximately EUR 56 million on a cash and debt-free basis.
