Moll Wendén has acted as legal advisor to IMCD Sweden AB (“IMCD”) in connection with its acquisition of ACM (Applied Chemicals and Minerals) AB (“ACM”). Through the acquisition, IMCD strengthens its minerals and chemicals portfolio for the coatings and paper industry. 

IMCD N.V., a leading distributor of specialty chemicals and food additives, has through IMCD Sweden AB acquired all shares in ACM. Established in 2007, ACM is mostly active within the coatings, adhesives, paper, plastics, rubber, and construction industries. Based in Sweden and serving a variety of industrial companies within the Nordic region, ACM generated a revenue of approximately EUR 13 million in 2022.
