Corsmed takes in SEK 26.4 million in a new issue

The technology company Corsmed is taking in SEK 26.4 million in capital. Corsmed’s platform streamlines medical examinations with magnetic cameras and has been described, among other things, as “a flight simulator for MRI”. The technology is the result of many years of research at Lund University by the founders Christos Xanthis and Anthony Aletras.

Among the new investors are Spotify’s former technology manager Andreas Ehn and Göran Nordlund’s investment company Fore C. The capital will be used, among other things, to scale up the distribution system in the US and in Europe.
